October 19th, 2025 San Diego Britisc Car Day It was a beautiful Day for the British Car Day event on Coronado Island. This is the third time we have had this event at Tidelands Park. The cres started unloading the Pop-ups, tables, chairs, coffee mugs, and etc. around 5:30am, and luckily the sprinklers turned off for the day, unlike last year. Cars started arriving around 6:30 and continued right up to 9am. Many Thanks go out to Jim Harkins once again for his help, get all the Jaguars parked. The featured Marque this year was Triumph with 41 registered. including 12 TR3/3A, 11 TR6, 8 Spitfire, GT6, and others. We had a total of 201 cars registered. And with the 23 Jaguars registered we were able to have 6 Classes this year. Here are the Class Winners: Jaguar F-Type First Place Nedra Rummell 2023 Bluefire Blue Second place Tim Bennett 2017 Red V8 SVR Jaguar E-Type First Place Lloyd Prosser 1970 Opalescent Silver Jaguar XK, XKR First Place Dave Putnam 2015 Dark Sapphire Jaguar XJS, XJR First Place Richard Rothe 1995 Glacier White XJS convertible Jaguar XK120, XK140, XK150 First Place James Farr 1956 Green XK 140MC OTS Jaguar Sedan, SUV First Place Matt Allen 206 X-Type Wagon This year instead of trophies we handed out Red, White and Blue Ribbons. I want to say Thank You to my son Brad who flew in from Ohio to help me with all the preparations and setup. He was a big help!! |
October 3rd-5th, 2025 Inland Empire Jaguar Club Jagstravaganza A lovely weekend to catch up with friends, eat, drink and enjoy the last Concours d'Elegance of the season in beautiful Idyllwild. Thanks to our IEJC hosts for a fabulous time! |
September 13th, 2025 End of Summer Drive A very nice drive along roads less traveled through Rancho Santa Fe! A great mix of twisty roads and scenic views followed by a nice picnic at San Dieguito Park. 30 members attended with a beautiful sample of Jaguars from the 1960's through to one of the very last F-Types! |
August 9th, 2025 Concours Afterglow We had an excellent lunch at the Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club. A great turnout with over 50 members. Good times with old friends and new club members! Link to a pdf version of the slide show at the event. |
July 12th, 2025 61st San Diego Concours d'Elegance. Spanish Landing Park Great location, excellent cars. super teamwork to organize. It doesn't get any better than this! This year we were pleased to host no less than four XK140s, and two classic DHCs. Steve Bernstein's Mark V, and Cal DiMaggio's Mark IV made a magnificent center-piece. Robert Baumhefner's 1960 Mark 2 was driven from Camarillo for the event. It scored a perfect 100! We had a total of 50 cars on the field covering the Jaguar marque from 1948 through 2023. |

June 7th, 2025 JOCLA Concours d'Elegance Huntington Beach, CA Great participation by the local clubs at the LA Concours. SDJC supported with Judges and entries. Stunning entries and super location made this an excellent show. |
May 10th, 2025 Member Appreciation LuncheonWe had a great turnout for our Membership Appreciation Luncheon at the Green Dragon Tavern. 65 Members and 33 Jaguars! We had an informal Show and Shine before lunch. April 6th, 2025 San Diego Rolling British Car Day This was fun! We met at the Windmill Food Court in Carlsbad, and headed to Menghini Winery in Julian. More than 100 British Cars, and a beautiful drive through San Diego County. Fun times! |
